Why Ama'z are THE AI2 Pad to buy?
Why are Ama'z AI2 Padz different from the rest?
When I designed my AI2 pads back in 2005, I crafted them with many innovative features that I had never seen another pad maker incorporate into their designs and I feel that those differences are what makes my pads work so well. Some of those innovations are widely used among pad makers today and I'm honored to see others using my design as it makes me feel like I got it right :-).
This is the design that started my biz. I have changed the shape and added some new fabrics but the important features that make my pads "work" have never changed. My AI2 pads work because of my innovative design features. First, you may think that four snaps to hold on the pad is overkill but believe me, I tested this design out until I didn't want to see another pad LOL. The two snaps in the center keep the pad from bunching and that's where other AI2 pads fail. This has been our design from day one. If there is only one snap in the center or none at all, then the sides of the pad are just going to scrunch up and where does the blood end up? Not on the pad, that's for sure! It ends up on the liner and it's almost like not even wearing a pad as nothing gets absorbed.
Another key feature is our low profile snaps. There are two snaps right there in the center of the pad, you don't want to feel them when sitting, right? Because of this low profile snap you don't even feel them, this is important as the design wouldn't work with bulky snaps as you'd feel them poking you so the snaps are just as important as the snap placement.
Another original design I came up with that I see many pad makers using these days is having the water-resistant liner bigger than the pad. What good is a pad if your panties are soiled? When I designed these pads that was an important feature I came up with because I ALWAYS leaked over the sides of my pads and this feature was actually present in my first prototype.
Lastly, when I designed these pads I made them so there was no absorbent material that would wrap around your panties. Back then all pad makers that I was aware of made the top out of flannel or such and the wings were included so if you had a heavy flow the cotton would absorb and next thing you know you have blood on your pants. Again, this was present in my very first prototype.
My pads have come a long way in my opinion. My first pads weren't that pretty but they worked. I have received many lovely emails over the years from other women like myself who have a very heavy flow and they were thrilled to finally have a cloth pad that didn't leak. Here's a pic of some of my first old skool products :-) (my old logo was actually made out of pads LOL)
If you're interested in AI2 Pads, you can be confident to purchase from Ama'z Padz as this is our specialty and has been since 2005. There are none other on the market like us!
AI2 (All-in-Two) pads...
these have 2 parts; a soaker pad and a water-resistant fleece liner. The soaker pad snaps to the liner.Your water resistant fleece liner...

Water Resistant Fleece Liner
Snaps around your panties...

Bottom of liner snapped
wingless comfort with winged protection
The fleece is thin, water-resistant and comfortable, it conforms to your body...
You just snap a soaker pad on top...

Soaker pad snapped on liner
Notice that the liner is bigger than the soaker pad.
This is done to prevent those nasty leaks over the side of your pad.
You can now feel confident that your pad won't let you down.
The soaker pad snaps on top of the water-resistant, stain-resistant fleece liner. You can keep the liner snapped on your panties, all you have to do is change the soaker pad, not the whole pad. You don't need to buy as many pads (you can just purchase refill pads) it's faster to change, and there's less to carry with you. The liner doesn't need to be changed nearly as often as the soaker pad. You should change the top soaker pad as often as you would change a disposable pad. I recommend buying at least 2 of the water-resistant fleece liners so you always have a fresh, clean one ready. The water-resistant fleece liner is breathable, the ultimate in comfort and protection.
